ALLRED ARTIST RETREAT FOR SALE ON OREGON COAST!

We moved to the big city a couple years ago and don't get out to our lake house on the Oregon Coast as much as we'd like to anymore.  So we're putting it up for sale, and at a "chance of a lifetime" price of $399,000.  We hope the next owners will get as big a kick out of it as we did.  Have a look:
Get your mail by boat in paradise on the Oregon Coast!  Boat and road access (though a 4-wheel drive vehicle wouldn't hurt).  This is the perfect place to escape and let your creativity soar.  Most of X-Statix and MADMAN Atomic Comics was drawn and colored here.  The GEAR also recorded most of their second album here with not a single noise complaint off-the-grid.  On Tenmile Lake connected to the famous Oregon Dunes and coast near the resort town of Lakeside, Oregon, about halfway between Washington and California.  Completely fenced/gated to the lake, four bedrooms (2 w/King-Size beds), four walk-in closets, two full baths, spa, decks galore (including built-in trampoline/play area & beach deck),  flat screen TVs, satellite, hi-speed internet, new appliances, new roof, stone floors downstairs, cherry floors upstairs, kayaks, custom furnishings included.
If you'd like to see this beauty in person (photos don't come close to doing it justice),
call Agent Russ Hendrickson's cell# 541-404-7595 or

  1. Wow Mike and Laura! The house looks just fantastic. What a prize for the new owners. Of course it will never look that cool ever again after you move out. We have to have a party there before you sell it. Best wishes on a successful sale.
    Love you both bunches,
    Cheryl

  2. I understand this may not be the most appropriate manner to contact you with, nor the best post to use as a vessel for my question, but I cannot find any other manner in which to do so (although I'm sure that is intended). In my studies I am currently writing a research paper on Jack Kirby and his influence on modern day artists and writers, and therefore was curious as to whether you would be able to (or even want to) give a brief (or lengthy, either would be greatly appreciated )statement on how Kirby influenced your works, if you would get back to me I would be indebted to you, but if you don't the reason why is understood

  3. The giant Madman yo yo and the Jaguar Man statue are so cool! I love how the house is surrounded by trees, if I ever moved from Washington I would only be able to move to other places with beautiful trees like Oregon or Japan. Groovy pad, thanks for sharing pics.

  4. This is the place you showed on CBR (or was it Newsarama), right? It was and remains, hands down, the most exciting place I can imagine to draw on a long term basis.

    Ye gods, I wish I had $399,000. Or $399.

    Or $39.
